2. Domain ad

These are classic ads.  They are a direct-response operation where the conversion takes place outside of Facebook.

Domain ads generally show social connections (e.g., “Jimmy likes”). Facebook must be able to match the destination URL of your ad for this to happen.

The important thing is to add your website URL on your Facebook page. So go to settings on our page and add URL at the proper place.

3. Event ad

As the name suggests, these ads are for Facebook events. Event ads can show the placements or programs. So the event can be joined directly from the ads.

4. Mobile App Ad

Mobile app ad would be visible on our mobile phones only.  By clicking on these ad user can reach directly to the Google play store where he can download the app. If the app is connected to the Facebook, you can measure its installation.

5. Page like Ad

These Facebook ads for pages and can be clicked directly from the ad.

6. Page Post Ads

The advertisement can use general posts on a page. Such ads are called as page post ads.

Changing a post on a page into a Page post ad will not change in terms of the appearance of the post. But it will change in terms of the distribution. So the user will interact with a Page post ad in the same as they interact with a unsponsored (general) Page post.

For example, if your Facebook post has a link to your website, people will go to your website when they will click the link. And if your post has a photo, it will be enlarged when user will click on it. The same concept applies for posts with videos or offers.

The page post can be liked, commented or shared when it appears in news feed.

Sponsored Stories – Voice of Friends

Sponsored stories and Facebook ads are two different things. But on the basis of the organic content of Facebook, these are similar to page post ads. One more thing is that Facebook users have written the content, not advertisers.

The content is all about your story. And this story is created when a person interacts on one of your Facebook posts.


when a person first likes your page and then one of your posts and uses your app, the content of your story is created.

The advertisement of a product can use these sponsored stories. Because these are also eligible to appear in the Newsfeed on desktop and mobile, as well as all other Facebook ad placements.

Profile picture of the person who made the action always included in the sponsored stories. Sponsored stories also use to show the name of the people who have liked, commented or any action on which sponsored story is based.
